To provide a functional task-sharing environment, we collect your Email Address. This is used for:

• Authentication and secure account recovery.
• Distinguishing between 'Admin' and 'Maid' roles.
• Linking staff accounts to their respective administrators.

B. User-Generated Content

We store the Task Data you input into the app (e.g., chore descriptions, completion status, and schedules). This data is necessary to synchronize information between linked devices in real-time.

C. Log Data

We may collect information that your mobile device sends whenever you use our service, such as device model, operating system version, and timestamps of app usage for troubleshooting purposes.

2. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following legal frameworks:

• Contractual Necessity: To provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate Interests: To improve app performance and ensure security.
• Consent: When you voluntarily provide your email and task details.

3. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

We leverage Google Firebase (a Google Cloud service) for our backend infrastructure. Firebase provides:

• Authentication: Secure sign-in protocols to prevent unauthorized access.
• Global Infrastructure: High availability and data redundancy.

We do not share your information with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. We believe in your "Right to be Forgotten."

• Manual Deletion: Admins can delete their account within the App Settings, which removes all associated data instantly.
• Managed Deletion: Maid accounts can be removed by their Admin.
• Inactivity: We reserve the right to purge accounts that have been inactive for more than 24 months.

5. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to—and maintained on—computers located outside of your state or country where data protection laws may differ. By using the app, you consent to this transfer, primarily to Google’s secure data centers.

6. Children’s Privacy

Home Task Manager is intended for adult users and household management. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child has provided us with PII, we will delete it immediately from our servers.
